Donald Wilson Bush is a Woodrow Wilson family descendant
through his maternal grandfather Charles Wilson McMakin. He has spent 25 years working as a political consultant in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and California representing
candidates from underprivileged communities while advocating for the rights of mothers, children, minorities and the poor.
In the last decade, Donald Wilson Bush has focused much of his efforts on training new leaders to support the economic and cultural revitalization of the Republic of Armenia.
Mr. Bush is a peace practitioner and a global advocate for democratic causes. He is an avid networker and he has given presentations in national and international forums
championing civility and peace in the Western civic tradition. He has been a friend of the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Birthplace for 32 years,
and his media interviews and lectures have been broadcast to more than 3.5 million people worldwide.
Donald Wilson Bush is one of the nation’s leading experts on bullying prevention and his published work has appeared in The Washington Post, Psychology Today, Forbes,
and a variety of other print publications. Mr. Bush is also a
lifelong Scots Presbyterian and holds degrees from Montreat College, King College and Reformed Theological Seminary. He lives in Los Angeles, California and Western North Carolina.
